因為地點孤立，克利特島上的文化發展得和同時期大陸上的文化很不一樣。他們崇拜代表生產力的蛇女神。他們的男人像是孔雀，用裝飾多的服裝來展現魅力，吸引比他們層級高的女性。
很有趣的是，他們的服裝會讓人聯想到1880年代女裝的臀墊形狀。
Because of their isolated location, the cultures developed on the island of Crete are very different from their contemporaries on the mainlands. The islanders worship the snake goddess, who symbolizes fertility, and their men are the peacocks, displaying their beauty with their decorative costumes so as to attract their superior women.
It's interesting how their clothing bring to mind the body shape of the women of the 1880s, when the bustles were popular.

我最喜歡的時期其中之一：古埃及！
要從他們的畫中看出他們的衣服怎麼穿很困難，但是那麼早的人就可以建造這麼複雜的文化真的很神奇！
One of my favourite periods: Ancient Egypt!
It was difficult to try and figure out how their costumes work by looking at their paintings. But it's really fascinating how people from so long ago could develop such a complicated culture.

我想在我試用期結束前多練習Vectorworks，所以就畫了我們家三樓的平面圖！
現在還在想要做什麼舞台設計的作品。說不定會設計一個娃娃屋？
I wanted to practice Vectorworks more before my trial ends, so here's a ground plan of the third floor of our house! 
I'm still trying to think of some kind of set design project to practice more. Perhaps a doll house?

我決定要PO我幫教授畫的服裝歷史參考圖！會有一系列的圖片介紹西方服裝的發展，從古美索不達米亞到埃及，到希臘、羅馬，一直到1960/70年代。慢慢看吧！
I've decided to start posting the costume history illustrations I made for my professor! There will be a series of these drawings introducing the evolution of costume in Western history, starting from Ancient Mesopotamia to Egypt, to Greek, Rome, and all the way to the 1960s/70s. Enjoy!
